This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Making sure my students have something to eat during their morning recess is very important. They need to have the brain fuel to do the work that is required in class. If they are worried about a rumbling tummy, they will not be able to focus on their work. This can lead to misbehavior and a lack of learning.

With this project, snacks will be available to all students in our class.

Students will not need to worry about not having a snack, as some families are not able to provide them for their children.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
