My Students

I am currently teaching for a Title I school in California. Fifty-one percent of the students in this elementary school come from low-income homes. We also have a very diverse population with full inclusion special education students. These wonderful children deserve all of the special experiences children should have in life.

We would love to have snacks for the students who do not have them!

My Project

I have many students who do not have a daily snack. Snack recess can be a difficult time for those who do not have something to eat.

We need a classroom supply of snacks so no child goes hungry.

Nothing is worse than being hungry and trying to learn. A child simply can not concentrate without a full belly. I currently purchase soups, popcorn and fresh fruit for my students. I would really apprectiate a donation to our classroom snack box so my student always have an option for a healthy snack.
