Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to provide snacks for my second grade students who forget their snacks that day. Some students even worry about where their next meal will come from. It's a long, hard day without a snack.Many times, students come to school without eating and have a hard time focusing on their learning.

Providing a snack during the school day or after physical education class will curb my student's hunger and help improve their focus and concentration.

The assorted snacks will help settle students' tummies from the pain of hunger. The items students get most excited about is Kind Bars. This item goes fast!

My students are hard workers and love to learn! I teach at a Title I school with low income families. My students enjoy hands-on activities, as well as exploring new ideas. I love them, and I want them to help maximize their growth in the classroom to help make them successful adults. With your help, this project can come to life for our students. Please help our students to be more concentrated on their work, rather than on their hungry tummies. Thank you so much!
