Snack Closet for Hungry Students

Help me give my students these snacks to support their growing bodies and academic success here at school. We often find that students go hungry, and being able to give them a small snack helps them learn.

My Students

Our students strive to make each other laugh and smile. The joy they bring each other finds no bounds, and the support they offer goes to all lengths. They continue to impress and surprise all the adults they meet with the silly, joyous laughter they share.

When our kids find their peers in need, they slow everything down to support and lift them up.

They help each other make it through the trying moments at school.

My Project

Often, our students can come to school hungry and without access to much needed nutrients. When their bodies are running on empty, they have a hard time managing their emotions and focusing in class.

Having snacks available for our students helps them be successful learners, which will help them be successful adults!

We in the counseling offices try to have snacks available for all our students that need it, but the costs can get overwhelming when they are coming out of our own pockets. We appreciate all the help that others give us so that we can support our students and their learning.
