For those who benefit from movement and sensory support, these resources help them refocus and remain engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nFor example, students who are still learning how to read an analog clock are using the digital clock as a supportive learning tool. We also incorporate the clock as a timer to help manage and structure classroom activities.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the Legos and Play-Doh have been a game changer in fostering creativity and encouraging students to explore basic engineering concepts through hands-on play. One memorable moment was watching students collaborate to design and build structures together, proudly sharing their creations with the class.\r\n\r\nThe privacy offices have also made a significant impact. Our previous ones were made of cardboard and had worn down over the years, but these new, sturdy offices now provide students with a reliable space to focus and do their best work.\r\n\r\nMy students were absolutely thrilled! They felt incredibly proud to be chosen and excited to share the news with others. Even now, the excitement hasn't faded. Students continue to express gratitude and awe that they were recipients of such generosity, which has made the experience even more special and memorable for them.\r\n\r\nThese tools will continue to be an essential part of our classroom throughout the remainder of the school year and will benefit future students as well. They are not only supporting my current class but are also being shared with other fourth-grade classrooms in our school to help meet a variety of student needs.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue integrating these resources into our daily lessons to strengthen student engagement, independence, and skill development. These tools will play an important role in supporting students as they grow along their educational journey.","fullyFundedDate":1766500267465,"projectUrl":"project/nuggets-focused-and-stem-edition/9827628/","projectTitle":"Nuggets: Focused and STEM Edition","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Worley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10311624"},{"teacherId":9405576,"projectId":9858233,"letterContent":"With your generous support, we were able to receive the case for the entire oboe and an individual case to keep the reeds safe as well. This makes it so our oboe can be treated with caution and care, making the instrument last for a very long time. \r\nBefore these two important pieces of safety and maintenance equipment, the oboe was unprotected and at major risk of getting damaged by not being properly protected. The instrument might have lasted 3-4 years, but now with the proper protection, we can confidently say that the instrument will last at least 10 years if not longer.\r\n\r\nMyself, along with my current and former students, are so thankful for these valuable pieces of equipment that will keep our oboe and oboe reeds safe when not being played.\r\nThank you so very much for your incredible support!","fullyFundedDate":1761587550707,"projectUrl":"project/keeping-instruments-safe-to-benefit-long/9858233/","projectTitle":"Keeping Instruments Safe to Benefit Long Term Music Making","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Mitchell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/musicallymitchell"},{"teacherId":9405576,"projectId":9189719,"letterContent":"We are grateful for all of your support to make our music room more organized and to give the students more of a space where they can learn effectively without all of the extra clutter around the room. With this stand rack, we were able to fit all of the remaining music stands onto this rack instead of having them scattered all over the room or having them crammed into the corner of the room.\r\n\r\nThe students have been very happy and relieved that now we FINALLY have a place for all of our remaining music stands rather than not knowing where to put them. They are less distracted by the music stands because they are wonderfully organized in the correct place and not creating clutter in our classroom.\r\n\r\nIn the future, as our program grows, we will need to purchase more music stands and we can purchase another one of these stand racks. When that time comes, we will know for certainty that this specific stand rack will become a great organizational asset to our classroom that students can rely on for clarity in not just the classroom, but also their learning as well. On behalf of myself and our music program, we are so thankful for your support in making this piece of equipment a reality!","fullyFundedDate":1746469649739,"projectUrl":"project/building-musical-skills-without-the-clut/9189719/","projectTitle":"Building Musical Skills Without the Clutter!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Mitchell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/musicallymitchell"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_98048","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":657,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":72,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":18,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"4 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"18.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":76.5,"schoolId":98048,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Timber Ridge School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Timber Ridge School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oregon/greater-albany-pub-sch-dist-8j/timber-ridge-school/98048"}
