Snack Attack

Help me give my students available food options! During this crisis I have found so many children are suffering with a lack of available food as well as water at home. Some come defeated before the day starts.

My Project

Often as educators we get caught up in our home room or grade level, we don’t notice the others. Once I started teaching after-school grades 3-5 that I realized just how children suffer outside of school. I have several students who are older siblings some to my own students. I have found a lot of them go without so their siblings eat. It breaks my heart but also warms it knowing they are so caring!

These snack supplies will help give my after schoolers more food options in and out the school to help foster that extra love for not just school but life!

I am also requesting pencils, copy paper, and a few reading workbooks to be used during my after school class.
