My Project

My students are in the school building for 8-9 hours a day, so little motivating snacks are a must to help my kiddos make it through the day with enough food to be able to focus on fully on learning.

School starts at 7:20 and aftercare ends at 4:00 each day.

In addition to this we have many extra curricular activities that keep kids in school for long hours. These snacks will be the bite of energy that may help them make it through the day. Typically I buy snacks weekly for the classroom and still plan to do so with fruits and vegetables to ensure freshness, but I have found that this is not enough. The midday struggle is real for my students. As we know students can't focus on learning while being hungry; help me provide snacks to support their growing bodies and brains!
