Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school district is committed to putting scholars first and meeting them where they are academically and emotionally at. One hundred percent of my students qualify for free lunch. Due to COVID-19, students cannot share snacks, so I would love to provide each student with individually wrapped goodies. Having a snack available for all my students will help them stay focused and engaged during instruction.

Hunger can create a negative impact on my students' school performance, which is something I wish to avoid.

I am requesting various snacks such as crackers, fruit snacks, goldfish, and cookies. My students need snacks to remain focused and energized in class. Healthy snacks like these will ensure students will succeed in the classroom because they will have brain food.
