Making holiday bags with pens and treats for our school community is a great way to get into the holiday mood. Kids will make a treat bag for someone in our community that they appreciate. They will write a note for that special person as well. They will get to decide so it makes it even more special.
The smore making supplies will be to use with the winning class who has the highest homework percentage at the end of December (for the second MP).
Everyone loves Smores and these items will make it so easy to make. The flameless toaster will make it easy to toast marshmallows like they would over an open flame. The graham crackers and marshmallows will be used for the class who wins the special treat. After we are done with this special period, the toasters can be used in our school for other classes to do the same thing. It gets added to our PBIS incentive options.
The Smore treats helps my kids get motivated to have their academic priorities in line and celebrate their accomplishments. The community service project of holiday treat bags helps kids show appreciation for others and that is always a great lesson.
