My Project
In Northern Wisconsin our Winters are not for the faint of heart. Many students at WES often come to school without anything to put on their hands. With the many feet of snow and below freeze temps, not having the proper Winter gear can prevent our students from going outside during recess and getting fresh air and time to burn off some energy. Also, having gloves to cover their hands will keep their hands warm and help prevent frostbite.
During the harsh Wisconsin Winters it is essential for students to have gloves to protect their hands. The gloves I have requested with directly benefit my students who do not have gloves for various reasons.
