it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm transferring to a new school and want to ensure I have the basic art supplies on Day 1 for the students. I have several get-to-know-you activities that involve poster making, and during the school year, I use art projects to further classroom learning. I'm ordering Pop-It fidget toys to help students who need extra support in focusing on their learning.
Students often need pencils to start the day off on a positive note, rather than having to look for supplies.
I want to be seen as the new teacher who helps students feel supported and cared for from the start of the year, establishing a caring adult presence in their lives. An electric kettle is helpful when making water for students' Ramen, which they often bring to school.
