My Students

Our school strives to create self-directed learners. This year, as part of our science program, we have integrated technology based group learning. Students set the pace of their groups with web based activities that often have audio components that need headphones.

Our 6th through 8th grade science students thrive when given the opportunity to make choices.

Their range of abilities tend to disappear when they work in groups in a highly interactive setting. They feel successful when they help each other learn and create as a team.

My Project

Integration of web based information is critical to achieve the goal of creating web-savvy students. If technology is not used to provide opportunities to learn core curriculum, students will enter the work world at a disadvantage. Our learning centers also provide practice in team work, another highly valued skill in any career. Please, help my students get the 8-Station Junction Box With Volume Control set and the Wireless Classroom Headphones Set.

The web has incredible resources that can inspire students to pursue a science or technology career.
