Help me give my students 2nd generation Apple pencils for my EC EL kids to use with their iPads so that it helps them move forward and fill the gaps they may have in their learning process.

I teach ELLs at a public elementary school in NC. My school is a Title 1 school with a diverse population of students and families from all over the globe. My students' skills and needs are as diverse and amazing as the languages and stories they share with their friends at school. Most of them are new arrivals in our country and need a lot of support from everybody, a festive and friendly environment, meaningful input, and valuable resources to make positive progress in their adaptation to their new school, neighborhood, and reality.
The use of Power Point, Nearpod, Kahoot, and other interactive apps is almost a daily activity in my classroom with all my groups. I need to help my students grow academically by acquiring the necessary linguistic competence to achieve their goals through rich texts and engaging activities usually mediated through technology. I have a set of 1st generation Apple pens and most of my students love playing and participating with them in class but sometimes the connectivity step they need to do to be able to use them in their iPads represent a challenge for my EC kids, who usually fall behind in the activities and games suggested in class. I have, at least, two or three EC kids in each of my classes and I have found out that their interactions with teacher and peers improve when they use these smart tools with their iPads, thus enhancing their focus and productivity. It is amazing what they can attain with a more user-friendly device like these 2nd gen Apple pens.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase EC EL students' attention and focus, you will ultimately help them to boost their communicative competence and self-esteem thus achieving their goals.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not waste time waiting for help to connect Apple pens to their iPads or socializing. Plus, in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn by using new technology!
