Smart Board for Smarter Learning

Help me give my students more technology during physical education class. Students in our gymnasium require more technology to aid learning, especially with special education classes, benefiting all 600+ students in the building.

My Project

Physical education is all about learning by doing.

The more I can connect to my students individual learning needs, the more they’ll be able to accomplish.

Technology is growing rapidly in our society and our students thrive off of the visual content technology brings.

Using technology in the PE classroom allows for constant visual demonstration. The ability to display game layouts, exercises, rules and GIFs will help all students meet their full potential. This is especially true for those in Special Education, whose learning styles are better adapted for visual cues. Technology can bridge the gap to engage all students, making physical education more enjoyable for every learner.

My students mean everything to me, they’re the reason I come to work with a smile on my face. If I can engage more students with the use of technology, I’ve done my job. But when all students can look forward to Physical Education, that’s where we succeed. There needs to be something for every learner, and that’s why I’m requesting a smart board.
