SMART Board for Smart Kids

Help me give my students a 75 inch SMARTboard with cable. This will be used with our math department.

My Students

My students are participating in a special program within our school. Our Title I school serves about nine hundred diverse students. We also house many special programs. One of the special programs we offer is for gifted learners. This program has around three hundred students in grades six through eight and I teach about one hundred and fifty-five of them. I have the unique opportunity to teach advanced math to sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students. I strongly believe good math skills will open up doors for my students to do anything they want in the future.

My students enjoy learning and look forward to being exposed to new material.

They are inquisitive, hardworking, and are always looking for new challenges. My students also love to play fun and interesting games in their free time and like to give back to the community. All of my kids have enjoyed the extras I can give them because of donors like you. They are always amazed at how lucky they are to have such wonderful items that enhance their learning. They have been excited about all of the community service projects and kindness acts we have done throughout the school.

My Project

Smartboards are so awesome! They make our learning more interactive, engaging and the math concepts come to life in every day instruction. Who wouldn't want a Smartboard? This awesome piece of technology will allow multiple kids to come to the Smartboard at one time to do problems. This is big enough for four to come up at a time. This Smartboard connects to the internet quickly for math searches or for test prep from different internet sites. You don't even need a computer to get to those sites. If a laptop is attached, you can open up Smart Notebook documents and much more. These notes can then be saved and loaded up for kids to view later. This helps a great deal when it comes to offering kids help. The bright and big screen makes sure everyone can see the board from any point in the room. Even kids in the back can see this Smartboard. Kids will special needs will be kept captivated and anyone with visual impairments will be able to see everything throughout the class period.

This will be an awesome addition to our math classes and it can be used in multiple areas when we also get a cart for it to be housed on.
