Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are getting to the end of the school year and my students are in need of new incentives to keep them focus, motivated and excited about learning math, reading, and science. The small incentives will make a huge different! We are an inclusion school, and some of my students with IEPs do need a daily reward to help them meet their daily goal.
Students earn school grams for showing compassion, integrity and/or persistence and they use this grams to exchange them for prizes at the end of the week.
The small prizes in this project includes pencils, pen toppers, erasers, pencil sharpeners and other small toys. Right now, we are getting low on the items they like and some students are losing some motivation, specially those with special needs. This project will bring back some excitement to our classroom and help my students finish our school year motivated and excited whole showing compassion, staying persistent and showing integrity!
