My Students

My students are of special needs with multiple disabilities. They benefit in academic areas as visual learners. They have limited mobility, poor fine and gross motor skills, and limited language skills. In our class we encourage as much independence as possible in hopes that these students will be able to achieve academic success to the best of their own ability. They are loving, sweet, intelligent, and need a few supplies in order to be successful in school, as well as, their everyday life.

My Project

If this project is fully funded my students will be able to work closely with their teacher in order to achieve academic success. When young learners are able to sit eye level with an adult they are able to focus more and it allows the teacher to get down to their level to assure the student is grasping the concept they are being taught. This has shown to be very successful especially with students who have disabilities. The students in my class have various disabilities and benefit from working closely in small groups. They are visual and tactile learners. This table will help them learn in their best environment
