Small Group Treasure Quest

Help me give my students fun treasure box prizes this school year. We will use these items as incentives to give our students fun surprises for being their best in our small groups lessons.

My Project

Every student deserves to feel successful and excited about learning. My project will provide a treasure chest filled with small incentive items such as fidget toys, stickers, pencils, bookmarks, erasers, and other rewards that students can earn by meeting their small-group learning goals. These incentives will encourage consistent effort, positive behavior, and active participation during targeted reading instruction. By rewarding perseverance and growth, students will become more engaged, motivated, and confident as they build essential literacy skills.

My goal is to create a positive learning environment where every student is motivated to do their best and celebrate their progress.

My students are special because they will work hard each day to overcome academic challenges, and thrive when their effort is recognized. The treasure chest will reinforce a growth mindset by celebrating improvement rather than perfection, helping students stay focused, take risks, and develop confidence in their abilities. These small rewards will have a lasting impact by making learning meaningful, encouraging persistence, and helping students believe that their hard work leads to success.
