Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a high poverty area. They don't really have a lot of physical resources but that doesn't stop them from learning.

They are enthusiastic about learning and love to come to school.

They will even wake up early to come before school for tutoring or dance practice. They often come to school not just to have their educational needs met but to to have other needs met as well. Our school is the most stable and safe place in many of our students' lives.

My Project

These materials will make a huge impact on my students' learning by using educational games and folder activities to make practicing and learning math, science and reading skills more fun and engaging for each student.

My students who need extra support will benefit greatly with these materials because they can be used during small group instruction, intervention, as well as reteaching and extra practice.

The materials will aide my students to learn the various skills taught throughout the 4th-grade curriculum. Also, the headphones will assist my students in their chrome book center and increase their knowledge of technology. These materials will help my students develop a love for learning!
