My Students

My students are a rambunctious, lively group that loves to explore the wonderful world of literacy. This group has varying exceptionalities; though each one of them has special talents that are all their own.

"Everybody is a genius, But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." Albert Einstein said that, and I agree wholeheartedly.

I always aim to remember that no two children are the same, and these wonderful students should be taught and nurtured as the individuals that they are.

My Project

No one likes to sit still for too long...10 and 11 year old kids especially. That's why having comfortable seating, that allows for controlled movement, is a great way to ensure my students can focus on the task at hand, and be engaged in their learning.

Small group instruction can be greatly aided by a comfortable spot to sit!

Wobble seats are a great way to keep students engaged and attentive during small group reading instruction and intervention. With your help, my amazing students will increase their understanding of reading by being comfortable and engaged.
