Small Group Reading and Math Resources

Help me give my students the tools they need such as wobble stools and a fraction kit to engage in hands-on learning to support them in reading and math.

My Project

Teaching small group intervention means building students' confidence, fluency, and automaticity with math and reading skills. The four intervention teachers in our unit teach below grade level students. Students often benefit from more hands-on learning methods to solidify their understanding of new concepts, as well as, opportunities for movement to maximize their focus.

Students need to be able to move math and literacy manipulatives around to see how things work.

Fractions tiles allow them to compare values and magnet letters help them with word families. Concrete materials are essential in our small group work!
