it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We live in an era where the technology has become an important component for our students in education today. I strongly believe that providing the necessary tools at an early age, will expand their limited learning opportunities and gain the knowledge they need to meet the expected standards. The Samsung Galaxy tablet and cover will allow my students and I to access the educational websites that reinforce the skills and enable higher level learning. These important tools will help create an authentic learning experiences and build successful learning community in the class.
Scaffolding our students' learning is essential to their academic success - now and in their future.
I will use the Samsung Galaxy tablet to provide financial literacy lessons in small-group instruction with my students. Our core curriculum is all accessible online so these resources will help provide small-group learning opportunities to differentiate the learning. I will be able to demonstrate and model for students to follow along and complete their assigned tasks. The tablet will allow me to give students differentiated opportunities to work on apps that teach about money. Students will be able to be more efficient with adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with money. I would love to have this technology to make sure they are college and career ready.
