My Students

I am a third-year teacher for the 2021-2022 school year in second grade. I will be taking most of my students that I had last year in first grade with me to second grade!

This school year I am able to meet with my students in a small group setting to provide them with interventions for both reading and math.

Having the correct amount of materials for them to use while they are at my table would be helpful to enhance their learning. We have some students that come with special needs, come from high poverty and homelessness. My number one goal this school year is to make sure everyone has everything they need to have a successful school year.

My Project

In this project, I have added model magic and construction paper. These materials will allow for student to create projects and do other activities as a way to express themselves and learn. I have added laminating sheets so that I am able to laminate materials that students will have daily access to so that the materials are able to last longer then a few uses. I have also added magnetic letters so that students can work on their ability to spell words in different ways other then using pencil and paper to increase learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
