My Students

As a teacher in a low-income rural area, my students face many challenges both inside and out of the classroom. My kids love to use technology to expand their learning, practice present and past skills, have fun with exploring new ideas and get ready for their standardized test!

My 2nd Graders is comprised of 21 awesome students and they would love to have their own classroom iPads to use.

They don't have a lot in life and for them to know that they can come to school to have the best classroom experience would make their day!

My Project

Today’s technology has so much to offer to students. My second graders are on all different academic levels. These iPads will allow my students to get the extra support and enrichment that is needed! I will be able to do enrichment activities with my high students using iXL and Prodigy, giving them above grade level assignments. I will also be able to provide on level daily practice using MobyMax and Lexia Core 5. In addition, my 2nd graders will be able to use the iPads during small group rotations and allow my lower students to have one-on-one individualized practice in an area that they need in reading and math.
