This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your help, I will be able to give my students a more interactive center where small group intervention will take. Students will be able to have dry erase circles to show their thinking process while doing math problems or even help blend and decode words on them during literacy groups. The counting chips will help as talking chips for equity participation or math counters. With the help of the curtain rod and floating shelves, I will be able to conveniently hang all of the anchor charts for place value, nouns, prefixes, etc. to show during a particular lesson.

Small group intervention can seem boring to students, why not make it more interactive and visually attracting to our young minds.
