My students come from all over the world and are not familiar with our language, culture, or customs. Many of my students have not had extensive formal education in their native language.
It is imperative that they are provided with opportunities to work in small groups to address the necessary skills at their functioning level.
The white board on the stand will allow us to display skills and materials we are working on. The miniature post it stickies will allow my students to display their work on the walls , since we have limited bulletin boards. The dry erase sheets will enable my students to respond to questions quickly while saving trees. The dry erase markers will provide opportunities for students to write on whiteboard surfaces.
These materials will assist in meeting my students' needs. My students are resilient and determined to overcome their deficits with the English language and become successful and productive individuals. Your donation has made a difference. Thank you !
