Small Group Book Club Texts for Students Experiencing Reading Difficulties

Help me give my students engaging books that they have selected for our small group reading sessions! I have so many students who are super interested in the babysitter's club series (graphic novels), as well as scary stories!

Hello Everyone!

I am a reading specialist in Boston Public Schools and I have the privilege of working with a diverse range of students!

For my most recent book book groups, I have asked students to help me select which books would be most interesting for them to read! Here is our compiled list of books we hope to be able to read by the end of the school year!

I work with students who often experience reading and writing difficulties in the classroom. I always hope to provide them with highly engaging texts, that support their comprehension and also foster a love for reading!
