Small Fingers Can Do Big Work

Help me give my students materials like playdough and tweezer tongs to develop and strengthen their fine motor skills during purposeful play.

My Project

My students are the youngest of our school, but they can be mighty. We need materials to help them develop and strengthen their fine motor skills. Using tweezers tongs to pick up objects will help develop their pincher grasp to later hold a pencil and write. The play-dough mats will help them explore letters and numbers in a playful way while strengthening their finger dexterity.

We need these materials and the bins to put them in, and just like that, students will be able to access these supplies and begin to work their fine motor skills.

I am excited for my students to get these materials, however, they will be more excited to use them!
