Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The supplies the students will be using to create their sculptures will teach students about the many factors that will destroy the environment. The sculptures will showcase an animal that is personified and will be participating in an activity that can often lead to destruction.

The clay makes for a great way for students to be involved in a hands-on approach to communicating an idea.

The tools they use will help them sculpt expressions and actions. When the sculpture is finished, the students will paint the sculpture with acrylic to express their ideas to reach a larger audience.
