My Project

Positive relationships and recognition can have a lasting impact on a child’s school experience. At my elementary school, students work hard every day to make positive choices, show kindness, demonstrate perseverance, and grow socially and emotionally. Through my Lunch Bunch celebrations, teachers will nominate students who exemplify these qualities. Students will enjoy lunch together in the counseling office while playing games, building friendships, and celebrating their accomplishments with a special slushie treat.

This project will help create meaningful experiences that motivate students to continue making positive choices both in and out of the classroom.

The Slushie machine will serve as a fun incentive that encourages positive behavior, attendance, kindness, and personal growth while reinforcing the social-emotional skills students learn through the school counseling program. My goal is to help every child feel seen, valued, and connected to their school community. My students are resilient, compassionate, and eager to learn, and they thrive when their hard work and character are recognized in meaningful ways.
