My Project

A Ninja Slush Maker can be a strong classroom tool for my cognitively impaired students because it supports sensory needs, routine-based learning, motor skills, social interaction, and multi‑sensory instruction.

Cold, textured slush provides calming oral and tactile input for students with sensory-seeking or sensory-avoidant profiles when used with individual supports.

Fine/gross motor practice: Scooping, pouring, pressing buttons, and stirring build hand strength, bilateral coordination, and pincer/grasp skills.

Students will use this slush maker for our Weekly Life Skills Cooking Lessons and our gatherings for holidays like our annual Thanksgiving Feast!
