Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will be celebrating International Sloth Day. On that day the students will learn all about sloths.

By the end of the day, they will be able to tell several facts about sloths and share them with others.

The students will be reading books, writing facts as well as making a sloth.

After we are done learning about sloths, we will have a sloth celebration. The students will have the opportunity to share what they have learned. Then each student will receive a sloth bag of goodies to remember this special day.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
