My Project

My fantastic students have worked hard all year improving their reading and writing skills. As a culminating project they're using their new found writing and encoding skills to write a paragraph on how to make slime. They deserve to be rewarded. They've all applied themselves and are showing excellent growth.

For example, almost every student is able to read at minimum 25 or more words at grade level.

They are using their decoding and word attack skills to improve their reading accuracy and fluency rate. Additionally, their comprehension is improving. They've learned to make predictions, draw conclusions, sequence information and find the main idea.
