I make a thoughtful effort to choose options that offer some nutritional value, and provide a bit of sustained energy. The students have an early lunch period followed by several more hours of instruction, which can be a long stretch for growing children. \r\n\r\nHaving snacks gives students the extra boost they need to stay attentive and participate fully in their lessons. I have seen firsthand how something as simple as a small snack can make a meaningful difference in a child's ability to concentrate, regulate their emotions, and remain positive during the school day. When students are not distracted by hunger, they are better able to manage their responsibilities, interact kindly with their peers, and take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support in helping make this possible.
