My Project

Slab handbuilding is a integral skill in ceramics. A slab rolling machine is essential when creating art with the slab method. I would like to provide my students with the opportunity to easily create a variety of slab projects. There are physical barriers some students face when slab rolling in the absence of a machine. This machine would overcome those barriers and provide more access to all students. Since returning from the pandemic my students are extremely excited about hands-on projects and 3D building. Clay has become one of their favorite art activities in recent times.
