This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Three years ago myself and my colleague started a cheer team at our school because of our love for it as children. Every year our program grows more and more. Students in every grade flood our sign up rosters wanting to participate. It has been a great way to involve the community and create school spirit.

We are asking for donations for skirts to help our team look more unified.

Our team has been begging us for uniforms. Every other outlet of searching for way to obtain them has fallen through so we are hoping donorschoose fixes our problem! The students want to feel like a real team and real cheerleaders. Skirts would help them do so.
