Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In spirit of bringing high interests and real life activities my special needs students will be operating a coffee cart. My ultimate goal is to prepare my students for life beyond the classroom.

Students will learn life long skills such as what is required to be a barista, a bookkeeper, taking inventory, participating in distribution and much more.

All while working on health and hygiene skills, social skills, communication skills, and money literacy. This coffee cart will be run for the remainder of the school year and years to come. We need a mobile cart, coffee storage organizer and sugar!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
