My Project
My third grade students love creating. They love making books, comics and doodling. When they need to calm down they draw. When they are excited about something they draw. When they are done with their work, they draw!
I want to give them the tools to capture their art.
I imagine their sketch books full of their ideas - silly and serious. They use sharpies at every opportunity and make the most stunning water color paintings when given the opportunity.
This project will help my students feel connected to their art, as they can save their projects in their sketch pads, as opposed to using scratch paper that often ends up in the recycling bin.
