My Students
My Graphic Design students are learning every day how to communicate with their world. They engage with technology, other students, and the world at large and graphic design offers them a way to engage creatively.
Creating art is an amazing outlet for high school students.
My classroom is a place where students can come to step away from the stress of their core classes. Students can relax and express themselves both digitally and by hand they can also feel the safety of a judgement free zone.
My Project
My Graphic Design students love to create art and these pencils and supplies will really offer my students a chance to up their game. The different pencils will demonstrate to my students what having the "right tool for the job" can really mean.
Creating sketches and drawings is a vital step in the graphic design process.
These art supplies will be used by my approximately 75 graphic design high schoolers. They will use them to sketch thumbnails and roughs for clients before creating designs digitally. Having access to these supplies will level the playing field for all students in my classroom.
