My fantastic first graders come to school filled with so much excitement to learn! They arrive at school every day ready to experience new things, excited to work with one another, while finding positive ways to boost confidence, and self-esteem in others. They find ways to build each other up. My students set academic and personal goals throughout the year, while I love finding ways to help them be successful.
My students are truly a fantastic group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
The item that I have selected will help my young visual learners see important information that will be referred to throughout my lessons. My students are noticeably more engaged during lessons and less disruptive when they can visually see what I am talking about, and when students can participate reading from the anchor chart. Students will also be able to use the easel in a variety of exciting ways.
I have experienced how important visual displays are for student learning and helps them recall information easier.
