Hi! I teach a 6th grade ESL (English as a Second Language) in Brooklyn, NY. My students come from all different countries, such as Haiti, Pakistan, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Panama, and Bangladesh. My class's favorite author is Anne Schraff. I have inherited a collection of books by her, but unfortunately there are not enough copies of some of the books for everyone in my class. I am requesting one book called "Please Don't Ask Me To Love You" by Anne Schraff. It's about a runaway girl who befriends a country music singer. We have 7 copies of this book, so I would like 23 more to complete the class set. I have only been able to read this book with my small group ESL classes due to the number of books I have available; however, I would love to be able to read this book with my larger classes. My students absolutely love Anne Schraff, and it would be such a gift for them to have full class sets of her books. Please help us share the gift of reading an amazing author together!
