Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read and collaborate throughout their school day. They will be motivated to keep working because the cushions will provide an inviting place to sit.
Furthermore, they will be able to use the cushions to help care for themselves throughout the day, as well as help them focus and improve their reading volume by reading for a longer period of time.
Whether they need it to focus on their academic school work or need it to hug and make them feel better about their emotions, the tree ring cushions will bring our classroom joy and continue building our learning community.
