My students are asked to actively listen and participate on the community mat at various times of our day. I conduct interactive Read Alouds, Grand Conversations, Reading and Writing Mini-lessons, etc., on the community mat. One of the challenges I find my students up against is being seated comfortably on the floor mat. Therefore, these wiggle seats will make a world of difference for many, if not all, of my students. In addition, this donation will improve our classroom learning environment by helping to reduce behavioral issues. We are faced with many budget cuts in the classroom. These donations will dramatically impact our classroom learning for the better. My students will be able to read, discuss, and interact with each other for longer periods of time. Please help my students reduce their wiggling by providing them with the wiggle seats.
