My Students
I am the proud teacher of a group of four-year-old children who come from a variety of backgrounds. The majority of my students come from low income families and many speak multiple languages. My students are bright, capable, and most importantly, excited about learning!
My students love school and deserve the best first school experience I can possibly give them!
My students arrive at school each day with big smiles on their faces and cannot wait to see what I have planned for them.
My Project
Pre-K students are inherently wiggly and constantly on the move. It is my job as their teacher to find a way to support their learning while allowing them move about in an developmentally appropriate way.
Having stools in my classroom will allow students to have the self space they need in order to be successful learners.
Stools will provide them with personal space as well as allow them the choice between sitting or standing without having a cumbersome chair to trip over.
In addition to having more space, stools will also help my students have correct posture. Having correct posture and core strength will ultimately help them become better writers.
