This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often times my students struggle to sit in their assigned seats for our 70-minute classes. They are often restless and need some movement to keep them engaged, motivated, and alert.

Having this standing desk as an option to learn from will allow my students to be able to get up, stretch their legs, fidget around, and learn in a different physical setting.

Also, this desk will allow my students to be able to work around it as we collaborate and work in small groups. Having the different seating options will help enhance my classroom learning.
