My Project

I'm making a request for at least 4 cube chairs to help our preschool students sit during speech therapy sessions. Children often benefit from the use of dynamic seating and these cube chairs provide different options of support for sitting. As a speech-language pathologist, the students I work with during speech therapy sessions would benefit from specialized seating to support their ability to attend to tasks and activities.

During speech therapy in preschool, we are working on skills such as following directions, answering questions, using 2 or more words together, and taking turns with peers.

These all require the student's attention to the SLP and their peers. The use of cube chairs would help to support that.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
