Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a very diverse group. They come from different backgrounds and beliefs. Some kids have access to technology and some don't have it at home. With the rise in technology knowledge for current jobs, all students need to know how to be tech-savvy.

Our school has a diverse population, with ninety-five percent of students receiving free or reduced-price lunches.

Many face challenges in and out of school and in their homes. A school is a place of refuge for some, and I want to provide ample opportunities to shine where they are in their development. As their teacher, I see a group of wonderful children full of energy and a willingness to jump in and try new things.

With Arizona being forty-ninth in state funding, it isn't easy to give all students what they need. For our students to compete in the job market, they must be exposed to and solve problems.

My Project

My students earn time to sit at the teacher work station and are in need of an office chair. Students like to earn simple rewards like sitting at the teacher's desk for the day. It would be fun to have a special office chair for students to sit at during that reward time. Students can be motivated to learn and work hard with the simplest prizes. My students love sitting at the teacher desk for the day. Please donate to my project so that they can have an office chair.
