Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our choir program is more than just a class, it's a family that sings, grows, and uplifts one another every single day. Many of my students had never taken a music class before joining choir, but they’ve found their voices, their confidence, and a community where they belong. In a Title I-funded school where resources are limited, moments of pride and visibility mean everything.
With your support, we can create custom choir t-shirts made by the students themselves using a heat press, vinyl, and blank shirts.
Not only will this give them a chance to design and wear something they’re proud of, but it also builds ownership, creativity, and team spirit. These shirts will allow students to represent their hard work and dedication, whether they’re performing at school assemblies, attending community events, or simply walking the halls.
