Sing into the Qball - It's a Microphone!

My Project

The Qball+ microphone is an amazing device! It is wrapped in soft, durable foam so that it can be tossed, rolled, and dropped. It can be used to amplify voices and record our performances.

By using the Qball+ to amplify students' voices, it sends a clear message that their voice is important and worth hearing.

I plan to use the Qball+ in every class that I teach. One way that I will amplify my student's voices is through social-emotional learning activities where students get to share something good about their day or week. I also plan to use the Qball+ to amplify students when they are singing or performing solo.

Most of all, I will use the Qball+ to record our musical performances. Responding to and evaluating music are important aspects of music education. Listening back to their own performances, students are able to be proud of what they've accomplished. During rehearsal, students can hear things that they are doing well and things that they need to continue to practice. The Qball+ will be an amazing addition to my classrooms!
