My Students

My students are a group of dreamers, thinkers and readers that are full of curiosity and love to learn! My students come from several different backgrounds and are each unique in his or her own way. They come in everyday, ready to learn in new, fun and creative ways, even though we never know what they went through the night before.

Most of my students depend on the consistency and love that the school gives to them in his or her life.

For some, school is the only comfort, welcoming part of their life. My students are like "my kids" during the school year, in which I not only teach them, but give them the support and love that they may not receive at home like a lot of other children receive.

My students are eager to find new ways to learn in the classroom. They thrive on the new strategies, technology and materials that we receive from DonorsChoose! If it wasn't for you, who help classrooms in need, my students wouldn't have these terrific opportunities in the classroom! Thank you from not only me, but all of my students from the bottom of our hearts!

My Project

We are requesting everyday supplies needed to be used in the classroom and at home while learning. These supplies will be used everyday for all of the students and the teacher.

The students would appreciate a sharpened pencil every morning before class starts.

They also want to hang up their talented art work and achievements made within the classroom so that everyone can see what he or she has done in the classroom.

My students appreciate the small things since they are not used to having these items at home. I want to give them the opportunity to do more in the classroom!
